KRAIBURG TPE has extensive experience in the development of TPEs with halogen-free flame retardant properties.

A product series with a V-0 nonflammability classification at wall thicknesses of 1.5mm in accordance with UL standard 94 V-0 has been developed for multi-component applications with polypropylene. A further series with V-0 classification at 3mm has been a successful part of the product line.


FLAME RETARDANT TPE - UL94 V0 (3.0 MM) CERTIFIED

 

The FR1 series is your material solution for applications with flame retardant requirements. The compounds are UL94 V0 (3.0 mm) certified and halogen-free according to IEC 61249-2-21. They are available in black and natural colors. Natural color variants can be colored in many different ways.

Processing Method: Injection Molding, Extrusion

Color / RAL DESIGN: Natural, Black

  • Self-extinguishing, no release of burning droplets
  • Adhesion to PP

We can offer those TPEs with all-color listings according to UL94V0. Moreover our FR2 series is certified according to DIN EN 45545-2 R22 HL2 and DIN EN 45545-2 R23 HL3.

The FR2 series is your material solution for applications with flame retardant requirements for low wall thicknesses. The compounds are UL94 V-0 (1.5 mm) certified and halogen-free according to IEC 61249-2-21. They are available in black and natural colors. Natural color variants can be colored in many different ways.

Processing Method: Injection Molding, Extrusion

  • Fulfills flame retardant requirements of railway applications - DIN EN 45545-2 R22 HL2 and DIN EN 45545-2 R23 HL3

For multi-component applications with polypropylene, a product series with a V-0 non-combustibility classification for wall thicknesses of 1.5 mm has been developed in accordance with UL standard 94 V-0. Another series with V0 classification for 3 mm is also part of the product line.
