Indirect Scope 2 GHG emissions are a consequence of the operations of the undertaking but occur at sources owned or controlled by another company. Scope 2 GHG emissions are indirect emissions from the generation of purchased or acquired electricity, steam, heat, or cooling consumed by the undertaking.
