We are a global manufacturer of custom thermoplastic elastomers. KRAIBURG TPE founded in 2001 as an independent business unit of the KRAIBURG Group. The company's goal is to provide safe, reliable, and sustainable products for customer applications. With more than 660 employees worldwide and production sites in Germany, the USA and Malaysia, the company offers a large product portfolio for applications in the automotive, industrial and consumer goods industries, as well as for the strictly regulated medical sector.

History
The addition of a new extrusion line increases production capacity in Waldkraiburg.
2018KRAIBURG TPE Korea Ltd. was established in Seoul, South Korea.
2017
The new KRAIBURG TPE CORPORATION facility opened, and the company relocates to Buford, GA, USA.
2016KRAIBURG TPE Mexico S. de R.L.de D.V. gets established in Monterrey.
2015
KRAIBURG TPE technology (M) Sdn. Bhd. took up production at its site in Seri Kembangan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Production started within a year following the groundbreaking ceremony on June 6, 2007.
2008Business in China gets expanded with a sales office in Shanghai to begin operation.
2008KRAIBURG TPE Private Limited India was established at the Bangalore site in India.
2006KRAIBURG TPE China Ltd was established as a joint venture in Hong Kong.
2004KRAIBURG TPE Corp. started its production at the site in Duluth, GA, USA.
2002
KRAIBURG TPE GmbH & Co. KG establishes itself as a legally independent company with its production facility in Waldkraiburg. From the groundbreaking ceremony (March 1, 2001) up to the inauguration on October 20, 2001, the construction of a production building for the manufacture of thermoplastic elastomer compounds gets completed in less than a year.
2001A sales office for North America and Latin America opened in Atlanta (Duluth), GA.
1999
A sales office for the Asia-Pacific region opened in Malaysia.
1996TPE was first produced at the Gummiwerk Kraiburg.
1986First experiments with TPE were done at the Gummiwerk Kraiburg. The first sales success was achieved.
1985Friedrich Schmidt established the Gummiwerk KRAIBURG GmbH & Co.KG. in Kraiburg-Hart. The production of rubber compounds started with rather meager resources and under the most challenging conditions. Their tireless effort and constant determination to perform enabled his sons, Peter and Fritz A. Schmidt, to increase sales and production year over year.
