Thermally Conductive TPE 

KRAIBURG TPE has conducted successful initial trials with external partners. Both harder and softer materials can be used.

Using the laserflash method according to ISO 18755, the thermal conductivity of the material was measured. The anisotropy of the material provides different measured values in different directions. The X and Y values were determined parallel to the flow direction, while the Z value was determined perpendicular to the flow direction. 

Tests conducted have confirmed that UL94 HB listing is possible if required. 

There are no particular restrictions as the level is comparable to standard TPS materials. Ultimately, however, it always depends on the application as well as the associated, specific conditions.
