KRAIBURG TPE uses GoGreen Plus to reduce transportation-related emissions

The reduction of greenhouse gas emissions is becoming increasingly important across global supply and transportation chains. KRAIBURG TPE is also constantly checking options to reduce emissions within the company’s own value chain. As a developer and manufacturer of thermoplastic elastomers, KRAIBURG TPE is aiming to gradually reduce greenhouse gas emissions across its own business operations.

This also includes switching to GoGreen Plus, which the TPE manufacturer has now implemented in its logistics operations. After a trial run had been completed successfully in the course of 2025, the company decided in February 2026 to handle all outbound ocean freight shipments (OFR) via DHL logistics group’s GoGreen Plus service with effect from March 1.

From “GoGreen” to “GoGreen Plus”
While GoGreen focuses on offsetting transportation-related emissions, GoGreen Plus focuses on measures that reduce emissions within the logistics value chain such as using alternative fuels. In the case of KRAIBURG TPE, DHL supports the reduction of transportation-related greenhouse gas emissions within its own logistics network in this way.

Climate protection and resource efficiency as part of the corporate strategy
Oliver Zintner, CEO at KRAIBURG TPE, views the GoGreen Plus labelling of the company’s own ocean freight shipments as another key element in the consistent implementation of the company’s strategy: “Sustainability issues have long since become an integral part of our daily business operations.
