Recycling Content TPE for Automotive

The primary source of recycled filler for our automotive solutions is post-industrial recycling calcium carbonate.

We can currently supply automotive solutions globally with up to 77% recycled content, manufactured at our German plant. In Malaysia and the US, our production is focused on local recycled content grades limited to 50%. However, we're actively integrating new raw materials into our US and Malaysian plants to produce high recycled content solutions locally by 2025. This will ensure the best product carbon footprint and a streamlined supply chain.

Our new solutions offer sustainable TPEs with comparable quality to virgin compounds. We maintain crucial properties like surface aspect, weathering behavior, odor, and mechanical properties. Additionally, we provide high post-consumer content (25 – 60%) to meet future EOL EU regulations. Moreover, we are working towards our own sustainability targets by utilizing PIR thermoplastics, PIR fillers, and PCR technical white oil, contributing to resource conservation.
