EcoVadis Gold rating confirmed: KRAIBURG TPE once again assessed across all sites worldwide

KRAIBURG TPE has been awarded the gold medal by EcoVadis, an international operating provider of business sustainability ratings, for the second year in a row. The rating includes all of the company’s sites worldwide, which together achieved this outstanding result. KRAIBURG TPE achieved new record values in each of the four assessment areas – environment, labor and human rights, ethics as well as sustainable procurement. With a result of 98th percentile, the company is among the top 2 % of all companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide and thus emphasizes its leading position in the field of sustainable business management.

Sustainability has long become a key factor for success in the plastics processing and producing industry. The increased public interest is no longer limited to individual controversial issues but demands transparent and comprehensible services from companies. Here, reliable key figures that make progress and improvements measurable and objectively assessable in comparison with other companies in the industry play a decisive role.

Already awarded silver at the premiere in 2022
With more than 150,000 listed companies and millions of company assessments, EcoVadis has become established to date as one of the most widely used standards for sustainability assessments. The standard set by the Paris agency in the selected individual categories is both high and broad. That’s why the response was particularly positive when KRAIBURG TPE was able to receive one of the popular EcoVadis silver awards in 2022, its first year of participation.

In 2025, KRAIBURG TPE received the gold medal for all sites worldwide for the first time – a result that illustrates the cooperation across sites and the commitment of all staff members. The award was confirmed at the highest level during the regular reassessment process in January 2026 – combined with further increases in individual ratings in all four categories. This emphasizes the continuous improvement and consistent implementation of the sustainability strategy on a global scale.

Continuity and persistence in achieving sustainability goals
“For us, this second Gold Award is confirmation in many respects of the extraordinary achievements we have made in the field of sustainability in the past years,” Oliver Zintner, CEO at KRAIBURG TPE, classifies this year’s result. “On the one hand, it demonstrates how strong our position is in international comparison. 
But above all, the award emphasizes how continuously and persistently we pursue our sustainability goals in all categories.”

The award has also gained increasing importance in the field of marketing and distribution in recent years. “In addition to product quality, price and delivery reliability, sustainability criteria are a more and more important factor for our customers’ purchase decisions,” explains Michael Pollmann, Sales & Marketing Director EMEA. “The EcoVadis award represents the consistency and transparency with which we implement our sustainability promises.
